HOME BUYER SCAM

-- An attempted home buyer scam has been reported
by several homeowners listing homes.
Variations of this scheme have been reported.
Be alert to home buyers requiring the home seller to send payment to
a third party from excess proceeds received in a CASHIERS CHECK.
The basic scam is
that the home buyer ( SCAMMER ) send the home seller a CASHIERS
CHECK for more than the asking price of the home for sale.
The SCAMMER want
the home seller to send a payment to a third party from the EXCESS
PROCEEDS of the CASHIERS CHECK.
The scam come when
the CASHIERS CHECK is found to be " NO GOOD ".
The SCAMMER hopes
the check or money order is sent before his BAD CHECK is found out.
