Mobile Home Description

40-ACRE WOODED RECREATIONAL GET-A-WAY IN THE UPPER PENINSULA OF MICHIGAN FOR SALE! This property is located in Spurr Township, in south-eastern Baraga County, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The parcel has Corporate CFA lands to the north and south. There is "walk-in" access into these thousands of acres of land for hunting, trapping, and fishing. It is located about two miles west of the most remote state park in the Michigan State System - Craig Lake State Park spans over more than 8,400 acres in Baraga County. It offers access to wildreness adventure and offers some of the most rugged trails in Michigan. The park provides access to seven quiet, non-motorized, no live-bait, lakes and many small ponds. The lakes are inhabited by Largemouth bass, Muskie, Northern pike, Perch, Smallmouth bass, Trout, and Walleye. They are protected as Silent-Sport lakes, and there are special fishing and boat regulations that apply to all of the lakes. Craig Lake is 374-Acres in size and is studded with six islands and has high granite bluffs along its northern shoreline. It has a canoe put-in a short distance from the parking area, and a sandy beach camping area on its east shore. It has Walleyes, Northern pike and Perch. Beyond Craig is Crooked Lake a 180-Acre lake, which is difficult to reach and has the "Eagles Nest" area for camping. Fish in this lake include big Northern pike, Muskies, Large and Smallmouth bass, and Panfish. Other lakes include Clair, Kewadin, Neligan, Teddy and Thomas lakes. Teddy Lake is a good fishing site for pan fish. Keewaydin Lake offers the only boat launch in the park and is the only lake that allows motorboats; motorized boats are not permitted on any other lakes to preserve the area’s pristine qualities. A 7.5 mile section of the North Country Trail runs through the park and covers some rough terrain. This national scenic trail hiking route from North Dakota to New York includes more than 1,500 miles in Michigan. From the property offered for sale it is just minutes away for park fishing, hunting, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling! (Snowmobiles are allowed with 4" of snow or more on the ground. Cross-country ski trails are not groomed.) Along with wildlife such Bald eagles, Black bear, Beavers, Common loons, Fox, Timber wolves, and White-tailed deer, this area is home to a portion of the Upper Peninsula Moose Herd! The parcel has Corporate CFA lands to the north and south. There is "walk-in" access into these thousands of acres of land for hunting, trapping, and fishing. Trees in the area include Balsam fir, Bigtooth aspen, Black cherry, Black spruce, Eastern hemlock, Northern white-cedar, Paper birch, Quaking aspen, Red maple, Sugar maple, Tamarack, White spruce and Yellow birch. A 2003 Jayco Eagle is included in the sale - a perfect couples fifth wheel! I has a rear lounge layout with living area that includes the Sitting area with... Continued In Addendum
