Based in Phoenix, Cavco Industries L.L.C., is the largest producer of manufactured housing in Arizona and New Mexico, and has been ranked the largest Park Model producer in the country from 1994 through 1999. The company builds manufactured and UBC Modular Homes, Park Models, Vacation Homes and Commercial structures. Cavco supplies multiple brands from its three manufacturing facilities in Arizona to independent retailers in the western United States, Canada and Japan. The company's brands include: Cavco Homes, Cavco Park Homes, Sun Villa, Westcourt, Cedar Court, Villager, Winrock, and SunBuilt. Cavco also customizes floor plans, specifications and brand names for land/lease communities and subdivision developers, as well as for large multi-location distributors. In addition, Cavco supplies products to its retail operation, CRG Holdings, LLC, which distributes through Cavco Home Centers, AAA Homes and Factory Liquidators. CRG is the largest manufactured housing retailer in Arizona and sells from 27 locations in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Louisiana and Texas. Cavco was once a subsidiary of Dallas-based Centex Corporation. In addition to its manufactured housing operation, Centex, through its subsidiaries, was one of the nation's leading residential homebuilders, home mortgage providers and general building contractors. |
